The average age of a weaver (in the states mapped) is 45 years; they continue to earn less than ₹200 ($2.5) per day

As part of the SARDI India MSME Tech Policy Fellowship Program (an initiative by USAID & DAI and anchored by LEAD at Krea University), 200M supported a research study spanning four states in India to examine the present landscape of collective enterprises in the handloom sector and their state of digital adoption. The final report offers insights on how such enterprises can act as key intermediaries in enhancing digital adoption among weaver communities.
